About
The schools are headed by Ozel Osman 5th Dan Black Belt, who began his martial arts career in 1973 as a result of bullying & intimidation at school, with a view of just learning how to defend himself.

However, he became more serious about his training and went on to achieve his first Black Belt in 1980.

Feeling dissatisfied with his knowledge, he made the first of 5 visits to Japan, to study & train under famous Japanese Karate Masters.

He has attended instructor training courses all over England, Europe & Japan as well as attending training camps and courses with the National Team coach, Sensei Ticky Donovan and top instructors of various styles of Karate & other forms of martial arts.

He competed at local, national & international level of competition, representing England in the Goju-Kai team with several successes, individual & team in Kata and Kumite.

He trained in Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) in Thailand and was voted Castle Point Sports Personality of the Year. He is a qualified Massage Therapist to ITEC standards and has enhanced CRB disclosure (child protection).

The assistant Instructor to Osman Sensei is Sonia Gregory.

She began her martial arts training in Wing Chun Kung Fu, in the mid-nineties, achieving advanced level. As a progression to her martial arts, she began practising Karate in 2002.

Sonia Sempai is qualified to teach aerobics & administer First Aid.
